Thank you to our media partners. Without your coverage, we could not raise awareness for one of the most important topics today: Mental Health. 

  • Suicide was the second leading cause of death among individuals between the ages of 10-14 and 25-34 
     

  • Suicide rates nearly double homicide rates in the USA
     

  • Nearly half a million lives (480,622) were lost to suicide from 2010 to 2020. During the same period, the suicide death rate increased by 12% and as of 2009, the number of suicides outnumbered those caused by motor vehicle accidents. 
     

  • Between 2007 and 2018 the suicide rate among those age 10 to 24 increased nearly 60%.
     

  • Suicide is the second-leading cause of death among people age 15 to 24 in the U.S. Nearly 20% of high school students report serious thoughts of suicide and 9% have made an attempt to take their lives.
